Checkmate Method for Measuring Acid in Refrigerant Gas

Description
The Acid and Moisture level of refrigerant gas are measured independently. Knowing the purity of Refrigerant is vital information for every service technician. The technician needs to know if the refrigerant can be (1) immediately reused, (2) needs to be cleaned-up, (3) contaminated beyond reclaiming capabilities, (4) or failed to be properly cleaned during a reclaiming process. In System Diagnostics, the tests result obtained by the Oil Detector Tube can be correlated to the findings of the Refrigerant examination, or visa versa.

Acid Test

This is a positive test for Acidic Refrigerant. Color change is Blue to Yellow, or Blue to White, often a mixture of both yellow/white.
